Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Offers Prayers for Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu
The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (Surulere District) in Lagos has commended the administration of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his developmental strides in the state. The religious body expressed appreciation for the government’s efforts in securing lives and property against man-made and environmental hazards.
The church made this commendation during the formation of an Investiture/Inauguration Committee for upcoming programs.
Special Apostle George Oluwadare Ogunleye, the District Chairman/General Leader of the church, stated: “As we commend the governor for his efforts to advance the state, we will intensify our prayers against the incessant fire disasters, for the return of abundance, and for continued peace and brotherly love in Lagos State.
“I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely appreciate all our elders, both male and female, the Investiture/Inauguration Committee, the entire church, as well as all our friends and well-wishers who have been praying with us.
May the Almighty God continue to uphold and sustain you all. Amen. At this juncture, let me highlight the programs for the Investiture/Inauguration: May 6, 2024, a press conference; May 7, a Revival Programme; and May 8, a meeting of the Chairman/General Leader with Surulere Elders, Branch Leaders (Home and Abroad), Chapel Leaders, and Unit Heads.”
He added that a praise service, known as the Sacrifice of Praise, will also be held. On May 9, there will be special prayer sessions conducted by ordained ministers.
“On May 10, we will host a dinner with His Eminence, Baba Aladura Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.
The Investiture Lecture, titled ‘Leadership Legacy in Spiritual Context,’ will also take place on May 10 and will be delivered by Dr. Steve Ogidan.
The Investiture of the Chairman/General Leader is scheduled for May 11, followed by thanksgiving and the ordination of members on May 12. We believe this program will lead to the salvation of many souls.
We have strong faith in the Nigerian Project and are convinced of God’s immeasurable love for this nation. From the time of Moses Orimolade to the present, God has raised anointed men and women in Nigeria, indicating a greater purpose for this country beyond ordinary perception,” he stated.
The cleric affirmed that Nigeria is a great country destined for greater achievements in Jesus’ name. “Let us all continue to play our parts by loving God and our neighbors, obeying laws, and respecting constituted authorities.
Our prayer for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that God grants him the wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and good health to positively direct the affairs of this country.”
